Nvidia GTX 980 Ti

Hello, I'm new here.

I have a Nvidia GTX 980 Ti which is a reference. I unboxed it today and heared a little noise in the video card itself. So there was little screw in it, further I saw nothing noticeable. Could this video card be broken? It's new and never unboxed.

The video card was a prize that I had won. But I'm not sure if it works or not because I don't have a gaming pc. Did someone ever experienced something like this or does someone have advise for me?

I don't have warranty on it so I can't send it back.

If there's a screw in it, you need to get that screw out. It can cause a shortage.

If there was a screw in it and now taken out... that means there is a screw missing. Soooooo you might also want to see if you can find out where that screw went.

Check the backplate of the GPU for a missing screw.

I'm going to check it now. Could it be possible that there fell a screw in it or something?
