basically I'm looking at buying one to add to my PC i just wanted to get some thoughts on how it is and if it will communicate well with my current GPU

just to be clear i want many opinions from you guys not reviews from reviewers in short you guys i trust more.

It won't communicate well at all with your GPU.

SLI is for two of the same cards ideally of the same make.

You can't mix 980Ti and 970.

So the answer is, to be clear and not quoting real experts and people with proven test methodologies, rather being someone on an open member forum with absolutely no official creditation or proof behind my statements other than my opionion and experience which could be vast and could be really poor..........

it won't work, you can't do this. Buy a second 970 or sell your current one and replace it with the 980 Ti.
