nVidia GTX650Ti - Startup/BIOS on wrong monitor

So, after 8yrs I needed a new monitor finally. Old one was DVI, and I have a TV plugged into HDMI. When I turned the computer on, by default Win7 saw the TV as monitor#1, which was easy to fix. At startup though, (BIOS bootup screens) it always showed on my DVI computer monitor by default.

I switched to a new monitor, which is using the DP port not DVI... and when I turn on my system, the boot screens are all on my TV. If I turn the system on with the TV off, it still displays on the TV I guess because my monitor is blank until the Win7 startup screen shows up.

Is there a way to force the card to show DP as #1 by default? That way when I turn the computer on without the TV on, I can see the bootup sequence?

I'll also add... I did shut down, unplugged the TV from the card, powered on and the BIOS startup shows on the computer screen. After all booted up, I plugged the TV back in, rebooted and defaulted back to the TV again.
