Solution
I think you are looking at the problem wrong. You are blaming the gpu boosting the clock speed, but you dont actually know that its the cause of the problem - what you describe is GPU boost working normally.

So you get driver crash when you try to play games? Can you list your full specs? What driver versions have you tried?

this is not the correct boost clock stock clock 1085. mhz boost clock 1150mhz
why is he going to 1267 ? he never dit this before and now he dus and crashes also tryed to reduce the mhz with evga the clock goes down but still card crashes when game load 🙁

k

I know that the max boost clock is 1150 but it dusnt make sense why he go over hes max.
I reduce it whit 100mhz to get back at my stock boost clock of 1150mhz stil its crashing.
I'm testing now the gpu in a other set up.
i Know about my older staticts the gpu never go over 1150 till one day . few days ago

i found out on the other platform that my gpu is realy going over voltage, But i can't find the orignal core voltage. 🙁

Hi, i already flashed the bios with diferent stock bios. from older version to new.
The problem still occure. try to lower the voltage tru evga but that still dint work.

Yep now my graphics card dusn't do anything anymore 🙁 it gives screen but very strange. like 3 parts ore something. any idea to fix this ?

I never flashed my bios I just started flashing it because of the problem. yes i still have the Original bios but its the same .
But now need to try to get a good bios on it because now i have almost nothing anymore.

Yea it looks like it. got a good bios on it agian so got back screen. i don't know what to do the gpu whos overclocked for like a year but now it looks like the over voltage is stuck in the settings . reinstalled drivers Older drivers flash bios Reinstalled my rig Tested the gpu in a other rig . same problem.

i startup the game . everything works. i chose a map or in other games a car to race the map loads En when the load is almost finishd the game shuts down Like black ops 3 and project cars just freezes. i don't think its the psu because in a other rig i'ts the same isseu once you put the card in you can't play a game anymore .

Already a great thank you for helping !

Is there any way to fix this ore i have to go to the retailer ?

Either go to retailer, or contact Gigabyte directly for their RMA process.

I have contacted Gigabyte. Thanks for the help Have a nice day !
I'l post later on what gigabyte will say .

Today I managed to game for a while . i notice the gpu dusnt like i't but when i overclock the thing to 1500 mhz then i'ts getting alive again. all games work. sometimes the frame drops alittle but not that i'ts you cant play it good.
