Windows 10 device manager shows that I have three different "Nvidia High Definition Audio Devices". I am using the Realtek Hi Def Audio with my speakers plugged into the jack on my Asus mobo.
I'm having the well-known Realtek audio/video desync issue and have tried all of the suggested fixes with nothing working. Last resort is to add a new, non-realtek sound card. I don't want to buy one if I don't have to and noticed these Nvidia audio devices listed in my system. But... my RTX 2080 gpu doesn't have any audio jacks on it. I'm guessing these devices are used to only pass sound through HDMI. Just asking to confirm and try to understand what they're here for.
