I know most games as well as DX12 don't support SLI. An RTX 2080 will play any game at 1080p 120FPS without ray tracing. If you run 4 RTX 2080s using NVidia Mosaic on a 4K screen. Each GPU displays one quadrant. So you would have 4 1080p quadrants. Could you now game at 4K 120FPS even though the cards aren't running in SLI mode. They are each just displaying their own quadrant??? From what I understand this is different than how SLI works. No????

In answer to your question:
"Could you now game at 4K 120FPS even though the cards aren't running in SLI mode. "
"Ok. But can mosaic work for gaming? "

No.
This is not built for gaming, and games aren't designed around using it.

Not everything in the computer world is built around enhancing game performance and visuals.
