Guys i just bough a new notebook, with this nvidia mx150 that plays game really fine... but in gpu-z it just shows PCI X4 3.0, i mean REALLY PCI X4? Is this 2007?
It's a gpu-z glitch? I've seen some on youtube with the same chip having pci x4 too, but i'm asking if it's really meant to be x4 or simply my notebook manufactor is a complete idiot in putting a new intel 8th gen cpu and limiting a new pascal gpu.... :/

So it's one of these: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-mx150/specifications
Note that there are no specs as such, just a list of features.
This review involves a titan, which will be 10x better than yours, maybe 15x.

PCI-E2.0x8 is the same bandwidth as 3.0x4. No difference in performance.

The bandwidth to the card will not be a problem is the card is low end, in fact if it is not bleeding edge.

True, this card it's not a beast but compared to equally priced notebooks that were in same price range here , showing "Amazing" gt 930xm 4gb ddr3 and so on... i hope i got a good pick with this weird mx150 2gb gddr5.
Anyway thanks for the link, it seems that a card like this won't be bottlenecked by x4 3.0, maybe that's why Acer or nvidia made it that way....

Hi , thanks , i just saw this...
What to say, intel makes new cpu but with pci x4 limitations.... :/

Because its cheaper and therefore addresses a part of the market that works otherwise be too expensive

Well that's true, but anyway i don't think that this mx150 could have better performances over pci x16 ...
