NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI onboard sound

How do I enable this? I recently bought an Alienware ALX and I have problems with my MIC working on the creative x-fi and the sound is slightly crackly. Its a problem with Vista/Creative compatibility apparently so I figured Id use the onboard but Im new to Vista and its frustrating me I cant just switch sound devices like in XP.

I'd go back to XP but it doesn't support a 1TB hdd 🙁

Anyone able to help?

Are you sure XP SP2 doesn't support 1TB HDs?

I think it does, SP2 enables 48bit LBA addressing.

Even if it doesn't just partition it!

Im 99% sure that I it will support it. My XP supports my 250gb native no problem.

If it's Striker/ Striker Extreme
Go to Advance>Onboard Device Configutration
Set HD Audio to [Auto]
