i have a gforce 9600 Gt video card. im looking for a new mobo. i want to know if getting the (asus) nvidia nforce 980a north chipset is better than the (asrock) Amd 970north bridge Amd 950 SB chipset. i will be useing the AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition Deneb 3.7GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core if this matters. thanks could use come help on this one. good mobo wanted. for under $140. please help.

I have my doubts if the AMD 970 NB Mobo will support SLI for later on. My 790FX-GD70 doesn't support SLI, it supports only CF. So if you plan to hang on to the 9600 or add another one later for SLI purposes, as I have the 980a would be the way to go. Iff you plan to change from Nvidia to ATI later on the way then the AMD 970 would be the way to go.
