Nvidia no longer threatening OmegaDrive!

Well it appears that someone other than the lawyers at NV has come to the defense of, or at least apathy towards, OmegaDrive and OmegaDrive's little corner

It appears that NV contacted DriverHeaven and stated that Omega Drivers will be allowed to continue. So expect some fresh ones shortly (if they/he aren't/isn't already bogged down doing the CAT 3.6s).

Check out the story at either Omega Drive's Little Corner or at DriveHeaven's Thread.

Well it appears MAYBE some people in the GFX companies do listen to the consumers/fans. One can only hope.

Probably the PR people got involved. I'm glad to hear of the reversal.

Omega and Zardon (?) have done nothing but good for video card consumers. The main purpose of Omega's drivers is to make games run smooth, stably, and look good. Any performance gains are a bonus but Omega doesn't sacrifice quality for performance.

I'm thankful that someone does this.
