[SOLVED] Nvidia Physx

Hello !

When I am installing a new driver, I usually click on "perform a custom install" and check only the graphics driver, physx and the clean install button because I don't need Hd audio driver from nvidia (I don't use my Gpu to transmit audio etc. as I read from a site explaining every option). In time, I was also thinking about the Physx : do I really need it ? I knew it is for games, but I was wondering if I can play them without it. I know the difference would be the particles etc.

So my questions are :
Can I play games without it ? (because I know amd graphics cards don't have it)
Will my fps be increased without it ?

Depends on the game, ost games don't use PhysX anymore. I think the last two big games that used it was Witcher 3 and Metro Exodus.

I would just leave it installed.

There's really no downside to installing everything, even if you don't end up using it.
