nvidia quadro fx 4800 for gaming?

hello, is it possible to play games with latest direct X on an Nvidia Quadro FX 4800 ? Or do I need somekind of special , weird complex driver?

OS is windows 64bit pro with 24GB RAM and dual quadcore xeon

any help greatly appreciated.
 
This card is essentially a GTX260 core 192, with specific changes made for professional use. The most prominent difference is requirement to use a completely different driver from geforce series, which are not optimised for gaming at all, only for CAD/CAM/3D applications. Therefore, I'm certain many games will work, but issues will likely be common, not only in terms of performance, but also glitches, bad optimisation and lack of features. This card is all about work and not gaming, an old one at that. Depending on your mobo, you could easily add a second card next to it, say a regular geforce card from series 7 or 9 and have a blast without compromising your work performance. And if you don't use the card for work at all, just sell it and replace with a regular geforce.
