Question Nvidia Quadro K5000 stuck in 2d mode ?

Hi all you lovely people.

I bought a nvidia quadro k5000 4gb (gtx 680) but it's stuck in 2d mode.

I can't get it to power up to normal 3d clocks.

I have tried all the usual stuff. Power setting, different computers, different drivers.

I even have a gtx 760 which works all fine with the same drivers and in the same pc.

The only thing I haven't tried is bios modding it.

Any help will be much appreciated

Make and model of your PSU and it's age? Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for your motherboard? You might want to work with DDU and uninstall your GPU driver, reboot and then install the latest drivers meant for the GPU sourced from Nvidia's support site, manually in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

is it a Quadro or a GTX 680? They can't be both.

The motherboard is a GA-X58A-UD3R with not the lastest bios. I have been meaning to update the bios for my xeon 5675. But this system sill works with a quadro k620. Which is newer.

Its the quadro k5000. I just stated the gtx 680 as they are the same chip.

PSU is a 700w casecom. Not sure how old it is.

I have used DDU on 2 different PCs. With 2 different psu. Which are more then enough for this gpu.

Sorry if I was a bit confusing.

I am pretty sure its there is something wrong with the k5000 as a gtx 760 which is also the same chip works all fine.
