Nvidia Reference Design cooler (980 ti)

Hi,

I really like the look of the Nvidia reference cooler design so I was thinking of going with that and doing a green build to go with it but I have heard and read online that it is really noisy and runs really hot.

I am not going to overclock it so it will stay stock is the noise and the temps really as bad as people say especially if placed in the define r5 with all noise dampening and all the modi vents or whatever they call it in place.

I am open to going with the EVGA acx or something different if it would be massively quieter and cooler.

Don't think the reference model is that bad depending on the model. Think it reaches 84 degrees under load compared to around 75 degrees on non-reference models.
