News Nvidia releases driver for entry-level RTX 5060 GPU amid launch review controversy

As I could not find it by simply going to their front page, I wonder if they just quickly buried it and hope they'll get hit from Google searches?

EDIT: That article/entry doesn't appear in my Google results either, funnily enough. Most (I think?) other "preview" articles appear, but Tom's Guide's one.

Regards.
100% agree. I saw nothing in my searches. Regardless anyone who did a preview for review drivers should be called out. Nvidia has got out of hand and reviewers have too by extention. This behavior is unacceptable.

the funny thing about this the cards dead before it even launched the card needs to be at least pounds 170-200 no one is buying these at 279 pounds and higher 8gb cards shouldnt even be near the 300 mark.
sadly there are lots of unsuspecting customers who will buy this in some expensive prebuild systems
or based on "recommendation" from some friend ...

Wanted to apologize for miss reading your post. Someone pointed out the missing a in "they did a"... While I don't think reporting on someone else doing as preview is a problem I do believe it had been better had TH not included benchmarks and percent increase in the case of the title. On that I think most of us agree.

That said this kind of reporting exposing Nvidia scripted previews for review drivers needing to be stopped and articles like TH did can help when done correctly. I thank god we didn't get an article from @JarredWaltonGPU doing a preview so he could get review drivers. It is a credit to his journalistic integrity, ethics and morality. Thank you Jarred for being such a rock. You give me faith TH is not lost in the sea of bad/paid for reporting.

PCGamer has some benchmarks, looks pretty good so nVidia doesn't appear to be hiding anything. If you really care about this issue, don't run nVidia, simple as that.
Or don't buy 5060 specifically, that's the product launch that has resulted in this whole blow up. But it was never the issue of untrue information, you are missing the focus on putting up guiderails, holding driver access as a privilege, & making all the timing decisions such that it's being sold without any unhindered testing.

(Also nice profile pic, I've got an A770 myself in December. Wanting to get a B580 for my niece)

Note that Jarred has left the building... though I may be doing a review still. I'm not even home right now so I can't start testing until Thursday. I'm not sure if I'll get a card or not.

I assume you're enjoying computex. I look forward to a real rtx 5060 review when you back!

You will be missed. I am happy for you though and I do hope we continue to see you on TH for time to time. Best of luck to you!
