This has been plaguing me for almost one year now. My nvidia replay will shut off the second I turn it on and it needs to work. If I turn "record desktop mode" then it will shut off even at the desktop portion. If it is off it will stay on and shut off when ANY game is launched. Even after a completely clean install using DDU after upgrading from my GTX 1080 to my RTX 3080 it still does the same thing.
I have tried running admin mode, turning overlay on and off, used multiple drives on this computer, used new folders, made sure permissions were set, checked all of my drives, none of them are even close to full.
in a last ditch effort, what I was able to do was isolate some logs (I cannot really make sense of them myself but my hope is that someone might be able to help with this).

I made sure to isolate everything, the only thing that I was during during this exact moment was turning replay on and then it turned off
