No, the more you buy, the more you save. But you can't have more than 1 GPU in a gaming PC because Nvidia ditched SLI.

Anyway, I feel RTX adoption more as a bane because in most cases, it really kills performance. I go back to my point about the purpose for making a game look nice and realistic when 80% of gamer won't have the hardware to use and experience it. And DLSS is great only because you really don't have much choice. Even with the top few tiers of GPUs, games may not even run at reasonable frame rates. Furthermore when you enabled RT, DLSS is a must have.
