Nvidia setting are not available you are not currently using a display attached to an nvidia gpu

But when i enter games it uses the intel HD intergrated graphics so i went to the nvidia control panel but it says " NVIDIA Settings are not available. You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU" so i searched the web and tried uninstalling my nvidia drivers and so on but it still wont show the connection, any suggestions?

Did you make sure your display connector (HDMI, DP, DVI) is connected to the GPU itself, and NOT the motherboard IO (with all the USB and ethernet plugs)
