Nvidia Shadowplay does NOT want to record at 1440p

Hey guys, I'm trying to record my gameplay with shadowplay at 1440p and unfortunately the file is saved only with audio not video even tho it is an MP4 file! I tried switching from windows media player to movie maker in case it is the player's fault but sitll the same. Everything rolls great in 1080p but not at 1440p. My monitor is 1440p 144hz G-sync!

Movie maker IS windows media player, if you want to test the file check out MPC-HC (https://mpc-hc.org/downloads/), if that software won't play it the file is broken.

I tried it with VLC media player and the file plays but it stutters like crazy and there are distortions and artifacts everywhere!

Make sure to try both in DXVA and software only mode. It might just be a configuration issue corrupting accelerated decode.

If MPC-HC fails, try clean installing your drivers (and reinstall with new version of geforce experience)

I did all of that, and the file is still distorted and artifacting! It should be the newer driver bug or something! How do I download an older geforce experience driver from NVIDIA? The only thing I could download was the newest one!

Just go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us, but most likely you'll be fine downloading 361.91. Just make sure to uninstall geforce experience before running the installer, and click on the clean install option.

No such thing. Geforce Experience is software that uses the driver for it's functions. Download an old driver and you get old Geforce Experience. You do NOT need to do that unless the clean install doesn't work. Uninstall geforce experience, then download the 361.91 driver and do a clean install (custom install option) and make sure to include geforce experience in the install.
