Nvidia SLI card on a CrossFire board all the posts I find are old

Hi all

I was wondering if it was still that way that you can not use 2 SLI cards in a Crossfire Board. I just got a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 board and Ryzen CPU and was using a SLI MSI Geforce GTX 1070 from my old build and I was thinking about getting an other of those cards to do the multiple Video setup. All the post were old that I was searching for on Google. I was hoping maybe the mobo manufactures had maybe made things more compatible. This could all be a fantasy please set me strait. Thx

Still not possible. SLI requires a minimum x8/x8 among the PCI-Ex16 slots. Crossfire only requires x16/x4. Your motherboard only supplies the latter.
