I just bought my GTX 1050 and I'm loving the features so far.
But I'm curious about Nvidia Surround:
I have 2 monitors with different aspect ratios - one is 1600x900 (16:9), the other is 1440x900(8:5)
When I try using Surround, it defaults to setting both screen to a res of 1440x900, which results in pretty terrible stretching on the wider 16:9 monitor. I haven't tried much gaming with it like this yet, so I can't say whether it displays with square or non-square stretched pixels in-game (I don't remember there being any readily apparent issues like that).
Is there any tool or something that can maybe trick Surround into leaving both screens at full-resolution/correct aspect ratio (i.e. 3040x900)? Or should I give up on trying this until I get some matching monitors?
