NVidia surround on center 1680x1050 and two 1280x1024 monitors

would the above setup work? I have the one center 1680x1050 monitor which would be flanked on each side by a 1280x1024 monitor. do they all have to be the EXACT same, or does it being very close vertical but different horizontal break it?

They have to be the same res so it won't work unless you set the middle to the same. You could try playing in windowed and just stretch it across them. Some let you input a custom res to do that.
