Ok, so this may be a little hard to explain.
I know Nvidia Surround is now possible on 2 monitors, but here's my question.
Is it possible (when using Surround w/ 2 monitors) to set the "center" on the left or right screen all together? Let's say Far cry 4 for example:

[M1] [M2]

Have the player and gun on the [M1] all by itself and have the extra side view on [M2].
I had also thought about trying to find a "virtual monitor" software to spoof a 3rd monitor also and see if that would work like this:

[M1] [M2] [V1]

Then the center would of course be on [M2], I just wouldn't be able to see the right side because it'd be on the virtual monitor [V1].

Hope this was to difficult to explain, but what do you guys think? Any ideas? Has this been done before? I know I could just get a 3rd monitor, but I really do not have to desk room >.<

Thanks for the help!

It would...
I think you can move the center, but believe me, no matter how you do it, it's going to look weird and make the experience worse then playing on just 1. If you dont have the desk space get a stand that allows you to clamp all 3, I got one off of amazon for pretty cheap, it clamps to the desk, and I used it on a tiny desk until I got a bigger one, worked well.

Unfortunately, as said early there is no way for me to use 3 monitors on my desk. My particular desk has a top cabinet with sides attached to the desktop. Why would it be bad to use 2 monitors? My way would look exactly like 3 would, just without the left or right screen. Providing I can find a way to do it, haha. Thanks for the response and help!

It would look bad because nothing would be to scale, it would all have to be done virtually so the effect would be skewed. Basically the reason 3 monitors works so well is because the other 2 are using your peripheral vision. With only 2 there wouldn't be a true focal point. Could you remove the top cabinet? it's funny because the desk I was referring to that was too small actually had one that I just pulled off. I'm not saying you CANT make it work with 2 monitors, but I'm willing to bet you'll be very disappointed with it, and it'll actually take away from the gaming experience rather then adding to it.

Ah i see what you mean. If only monitors did not have a bezel. :)

Yep, I tried playing around with it on AMD a few years ago when I only had 2, and it was just a awful experience and more frustrating then it was ever worth. May be easier on Nvidia, but I still dont think it'll be enjoyable. Either way best of luck to you :)

ill try this on my RTS games and see if that's a more enjoyable experience. :)
