Question Nvidia tensor cores: only useful for DLSS, DLDSR, DLAA in consumer market?

I don't know what use tensor cores have in AI or HPC apps. but for the consumer/gamer the tensor cores are only useful for DLSS, DLDSR and DLAA right? So if a given game doesn't support that Nvidia tech the tensor cores go unused right?

As an aside, AMD isn't planning on including tensor core functionality in their GPUs are they?

They are also used for

Ray Tracing and Path Tracing.
Video upscaling in streaming services or local videos.
Nvidia Broadcast services, such as noise removal in audio input.

AMD has that functionality, and also introduces AI-based upscaling in its newest gen.

Which means all 3 GPU vendors do this and put a focus on it.
