I am running a P3 1 gig with 756 SDram with a Asus Ti4200 128mb 8x AGP. Whenever I try to play a game such as NBA Live 2004, Simpsons Hit and Run or Noone Lives Forever Contract Jack. I get conflicts whenever I run these games the graphics are weird. The graphics seem like they are courrupted and lines run through the graphics. What drivers and directX is the best for my video card. How can I solve this problem. Thanks for reading

If you go to Nvidia's website, you can download the newest drivers...52.16 I think. Your 42.XX or whatever is quite old.

Also, there is a newer DirectX available at microsoft.com/directx...9.1b, and although your card doesn't specifically support DX9.1, some of your games may require it to run properly.

He needs the latest version of DirectX, and I would use the latest drivers also. If he is seeing lines or other graphical anomolies on his screen, I would check to make sure the cards fan is clean and spinning.

I help because you suck

Check the fan for sure. My 4200 from Asus had a bad fan about 2 months after I got it.

Also, follow the posts above advice and isntall DX 9.1 and the latest from nvidia.

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.
