Solution
You practically don't need to watercool the cards, they're very cool with the stock af coolers actually. Seeing you already have the rads, I'd still avoid EVGA right now, 900 series has kind of lost my trust, only 2 of the 3 heatpipes touch the chip on the card, I know liquid cooling would eliminate that issue, but I'd still go with MSI, its thinner and a better OCer.
GTX 980 would be much more powerful than 780, the 6GB VRAM will not be completely utilized. I'd however recommend a GTX 970 SLI, around the same price as 980, and would throw the 980 out of water in terms of performance. SLI 970s is recommended over single 980, which's better than single 780, for tri monitor setup.

Go for 2x gtx 970 it will be almost the same price of a good gtx 980 and you will need an SLI setup for triple monitor.

man that means i have to change my motherboard cuz mines only supports crossfire

but i can run 3 montiers now in surround

what would be the best mobo to get for gaming

Z77 EXTREME3 would do, around $100, SLI capable, great MoBo for the price.

where do you see it for $100

im going to watercool it shouldnt be a problem right i have a 360 and a 240 rad

im watercooliong so should i get the evga instead of the msi

I would get a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H. Compared to the ASRock Extreme3/4's, you can space the cards apart even further (you have the ability to change fourth slot bandwidth to X8 is slot 2 is not in use) allowing better ventilation and heat dissipation between them. Configuration is X16/X8, which is what you want.

Agree, but SLI would run at x8/x8. Single GPU at x16.

that was my next question which is the better overclocker i dont care about the space or heat ima water cool i love how it performs and looks
