Some people noted that Nvidia is way better than AMD for PCVR because it uses NVENC, while amd uses VCN, which supports H264/H265. So it's both better quality and faster because it does some magic and decodes faster.
I wanted to know if the difference is relevant or not. Because I wanted to get a 6700XT since it has Freesync and my screen isn't Gsync compatible. But depending on black friday prices, I may ditch VRR for now.
I don't know if this is the best section for this question because there are too many things involved (network streaming, Quest 2, GPU features, CPU encoding). So, if you guys think there is a better section for it, let me know!
