I saw lots of build powerful PC's with Nvidia and ATI graphic cards what are the real differences among them? And also same Nvidia GPU with ASUS and EVGA with difference prices.I'm confused about what to choose and what is the best one .I need VGA card for gaming ,video editing and 3d graphics(cod,bf,adobe premier ,after effects,3d max)
Thank you

Solution

Hi - I have an AMD based card and am very happy with it. However, I do very little gaming, a lot of
photo editing. If you are going to do significant gaming you probably want to lean towards Nvidia,
if you are going to do a lot of video/photo, etc you might want to lean more towards AMD.

With that said, get the best of either architecture that you can afford, and you'll be satisfied.
Two manufacturers with different architectures competing against each other in performance. Here is how they compare gaming Performance http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_760/27.html
Good article that steps on performance for the price http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html
There are multiple manufacturers making each card under license from the Chip manufacturer (nvidia, AMD) which explains all the brand names.
For your use I would start looking at the GTX760.

Thank you guys
Is it better to use Nvidia with intel processors?
And what is the best brand for nvidia EVGA or ASUS? (because prices are different in these 2 brands when we consider same nvidia graphic card)
