NVIDIA weird graphic bug on start screen

Hello there. I am having a weird issue with my display when I startup my PC and reach the start menu in WINDOWS 8.
I am facing this problem since I installed the 332.21 drivers but after 2-3 starts, that problem vanished.. Today I uninstalled my 332.21 drivers via. control panel and then installed 334.89 and the issue has returned..
3-4 days ago, i installed 334.89 without uninstalling the previous drivers and I did not face this problem. But I faced some performance issues so I was told to uninstall the drivers completely and then install the new drivers. After I did that, I started having this problem.

This only happens when I start my pc and reach the start screen. The whole start screen gets messed up for a few seconds and after that it goes back to normal with an error message saying 'display driver stopped working and has now recovered'.
If I go back to the start screen again, it's normal. I have no such issues while playing games or surfing the internet or watching movies. This only happens on startup.
What could be the problem? What am I doing wrong? Please help me. Thank you

i7-3770 @3.4GHz
8GB RAM
GTX 760 2GB @stock frequencies

I'm really concerned about the possibility of this issue affecting my PC in the long run. I'd love to have some proper help and knowledge as to what's causing this.
