nVidia's reign of power continues

On April 1st, nVidia has struck a deal with ATi to purchase its company for 1.5 billion US.
"Both company feels the competition from XGI and Intel is too much for just one company to handle" says nVidia CEO Mr.Huang
"If this deal isn't made, Intel and XGI's product could possibly over take the entire video card market"
A new brand name will be used for their brand new line of products. "nVidia-ATi" well be the legal company name. At the press meeting, the chief engineer officer from both compant announce NV40 and R420's production will both be halted and cancelled. a New product will release in 2 months to go against the new XGI PCI-EX products.
"If XGI is going to have 2 GPUS, we better have the same to match their performance"
This rumored dual GPU card from nVidia-ATi will be bundled with Doom3 and as well as Half Life2. The SPEC of the card is currently unknown....it is rumored to double the performance offered by R420 and NV40

I'm noticing an interesting trent with April fools day jokes on the internet lately.

As with the AMD-Intel naming scheme joke (which was dated April 1st in china, but made it to europe and the US on march 31), this one was dated on April 2 for my timezone.

So for all you gullable people out there, the April 1st alert zone starts on March 31 12:00AM (let's play it safe ) till April 2, 12:AM (just in case they have April 1st fools day and internet in Polynesia, or whatever small islands are located near the dateline in the pacific)
