Hey Jen, my GeForce 8 chip gonna melt down on me or what?

btw, You look like you're going clubbing after the Keynote speech, quite the party you have going on over there!

Please post some pictures of Tricia Helfer ... this would get more website hits than a dual 280 card being brought to market in a 250 watt envelope ... that fits into 2 slots ... and doesn't die in a year due to substate issues ... or burn your house down.

Also a big thank you to the Laptop OEM's who are using ATI graphics ... mine is still fine ... bummer bout our HP's at work with NV ships.

This wouldn’t be an Nvidia conference without talking about games. Huang showed an Age of Empires III demo running in Stereoscope, a new type of 3D that could be added to games within the next several years. Huang also said that this technology could bring people back to old games because it can be added so easily. If and when this takes off, I wouldn’t mind playing a 3D version of Red Alert 2 or Doom 3, that’s for sure.

I think it's great news that NVIDIA did a formal presentation about stereoscopic 3D (S-3D) gaming. However, it's equally important to point out that S-3D gaming is here today, and not something planned for years down the road as this article implies.

There are several solutions already on the market including 3D monitors (Viewsonic, iZ3D shown at NVISION), 3D HDTVs (Samsung, SpectronIQ), head mounted displays (TDVision Corp.), and much more on the way.

Finally, you can download the latest stereoscopic 3D drivers by NVIDIA here (they aren't available elsewhere yet):
