im very new to the nvme or even m.2 in general. i am currently building a new pc and i want to use a 1tb wd black nvme as my boot drive. and i also have a 2tb wd blue 2.5" ssd. and finally i have a 12tb wd ultrastar hdd i want to use in my system as well. will all of this work and be compatible? or what would i have to do?

Solution
Yeah that'll be fine. Make sure you only have the boot drive connected when installing windows to prevent it hiding system files on other drives (it does that and it can be a problem).

My setup is similar(ish) - 512Gb NVME boot drive, 1TB 2.5" SSD for games, 8TB RAID 0 for storage (backed up remotely), 2TB drive for some other stuff.
No problems, it all just works.
