I bought a 250 gb ssd 970 evo from samsung.
I had everything done, went into disk manager and created the disk and it said 240 gb.
But when i used "EaseUS partition master" to move my OS to the ssd i lost around 100 gb. i now only have 130 gigabyte on the drive. i've tried going into disk manager and increasing the volume but it wont let me. any help?

Solution
Why did you even use the EaseUS when Samsung provides the Migration tool free of cost?
If you still have the old disk which has os in it try to reformat the disk as GPT and re-attempt the Migration process.
Also go into disk management and see if the rest of the space is marked as unallocated.
Install Samsung Magician to see if the drive is genuine or not. It should say Genuine beside the Serial.

Perhaps the old drive he had wasn't Samsung, I had an issue when trying to use the Samsung Migration tool from a Western Digital to a Samsung and it just wouldn't work for me.
then I used EaseUS and It worked perfectly for me.
