Question nvme drive is unkown and not initialized

Hello,
As stated my new Samsung 980pro 2tb is showing as unknown and not initlialized in disk manager. I've tried to initialize the nvme but it states "A device which does not exist was specified". The nvme drive does show up in bios under nvme management but no where else. I've also replaced the nvme but the issue still persists. Should I RMA my motherboard?

Specs:
Asus z690-i
intel i7-12700k
32gb gskill ddr5
Asus strix 3080 v2
coolermaster 850w
2x 980 pro nvme

the message apears no matter which initialization style i use.

Reinstall Samsnung NVME driver.

Check drive in Samsung Magician software.
