OK, I have an unusual one:
I have the latest BIOS firmware and latest AMD chipset drivers.
Adata and MSI support are no help. The drives are compatible with this motherboard, I checked it. I tried relocating the m2 drives to different slots, tried different combinations, etc. No result.
What else could be the problem?
- I have MSI x399 Pro Gaming Carbon with Threadripper 1950x
- I bought two new XPG SX8200 Pro 2tb M2 cards for data storage. Windows is already installed on Samsung 960 EVO.
- I installed the new cards on the motherboard. They show up in BIOS just fine with the right name.
- When I go to disk management for the first time, it asks to initialize both drives. I choose GPT and click ok.
- Now both of the new drives can't be found anywhere. Not in disk management, not in device manager, not in "disklist" command. They still show up fine in BIOS tho.
