Question NVMe M.2 SSD in box detected but can't format

I have Samsung NVME M.2 SSD originally insalled in Dell, I striped in off and installed in the box (box should OK) and plug into USB in the dell XPS 13 and win 10 can detect this drive but can't be formated. not know what is the issue.

what the box? does it have a model?

Thanks. The box brand is Orico, just like anything else in Amazon. I have changed 2 different vendor's box, the result is same. So I think the problem is not from box, it should from Dell BIOS setting something.
