Hello guys,
i just installed my new NVMe M.2 SSD via Adapter to my Motherboards PCIe x16 Slot and made a Fresh Windows 10 Installation on it.
The Problem is every time I Restart the PC it won't detect the SSD and boot into the BIOS (No other Storage Device is currently connected).
But when I shut down the PC and restart manually it is booting Windows normally and works just fine.
I already played a Little with the BIOS Settings and tried resetting it to Default but no luck.

How can I fix this? Or is my Motherboard just not compatible?

PC Specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z170M Mortar (latest BIOS update)
SSD: Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 (latest Firmware update)
Adapter: Delock M.2 PCI Express x4 Card

Just let me know if you need more Information.

I'll be happy About every litte help!
Many thanks in Advance!

I just started having the exact same issue with my Asus Crosshair Hero VIII x570 board. On reboot, goes straight to BIOS and no NVME detected. Shutdown fully, then turn power back on, boots just fine. I have all the latest updates for the BIOS, drivers, and Windows, I can't find anything wrong or out of date. The system has been working fine for almost a year with no hardware changes until just a few days ago so I know everything is configured properly.

Did you ever find a solution for your problem?
