NVME M.2 to PCI or PCIe 2.0 adapter

I cannot find one for a PCI or PCIe 2.0 slot, anyone know of any? I do not have any PCIe 3.0 slots left.

What system is this supposed to be going in? What motherboard?
Do you already have the NVMe drive? Which one?

That is because you can't use the a M.2 in a PCIE adapter card as the system drive. You can really only use it as a data drive. And I believe it is limited to SATA mode.

To use it in NVMe mode, you need a motherboard that supports the M.2 drive in a M.2 slot. Then usually you have the option to use it as NVMe or SATA mode.
