I’ve been working on this for 2 days and still stuck, hoping for some genius who can help me.
Current Setup
Processor: i5–10600k
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B460M-A
GPU: MSI GTX 0170
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
SSD: Kingston A2000 1TB M.2. NVME
I’ve been following this link to install Win10 Enterprise onto the NVME no problems. https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?115969-Install-Win-10-M-2-nvme-drive
Fresh install, no drivers and it boots fine to the win10 desktop. Restarted multiple times with NVME only.
The nightmare starts when i try to add my formatted SAMSUNG Evo 860 SSD by connecting it to the Mobo via SATA6, the pc don’t boot but i can still get to the BIOS. I can boot to the BIOS with both drives plugged in or with the NVME plugged in only. Boot priority is set to the NVME. The PC will no longer boot to windows anymore.
Any ideas?
BIOS updated to 1401 released 24-Aug-2020.
