I have a motherboard Gigabyte B450M Gaming and it supports the 3gen of SSD, but I got EVO 980 PRO ..I know that it will work at half efficiency, but unfortunately it does not appear permanently..I want to make sure that the problem is not in the hard disk so as not to lose it. I hope for help

Samsung has a NVME driver that you could install.
You can download it here:

You could try running samsung magician to see if the ssd can be detected.

If it is your intent to move your windows C drive to the samsung 980, run the ssd migration aid go ahead and try the app.
It should be able to find the target ssd.

Ahmedmostafa01 Hello. I read your comments. I believe that you've stated the following:

Your Samsung 980 Pro is confirmed to not work in other motherboards, not just yours.

The SSD was purchased in Amazon US, but I presume that you personally do not reside in the United States, which would make the return very challenging.

Suggestion: If both statements above are correct, then I would suggest that you reach out to Amazon support, and see what they can do to help you with your situation. I would also recommend that you reach out to Samsung support and see if they can help you.
