So I just got finished building my new PC and the NVME wont read. The parts list is:

Ryzen 5 3600
Asrock B450 Steel Legend ATX
DeepCool Matrexx 50
Toshiba HDD 1TB
RX 570 8gb
16gb Geil Super Luce 3000MHz
6 uphere addressable rgb fans and uphere 120mm aio
Antec HCG 750w PSU
512 Team Group 2280 nvme

I have the nvme installed in the slot closest to the cpu and it has not read since I put the build together. I am fairly new to pc building so I have no clue as to how to go about finding out whats wrong or fixing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Solution
Okay, yeah I had no idea about that. So here's my next question. If I unplug my harddrive and then restart the computer with my boot usb in it, should that force the pc to use the nvme as the boot drive
Yes, then you'll want to do a clean install of Windows onto the NVMe. From there install the motherboard/GPU drivers.

The possible issue will be when re-connecting the HDD as there may be conflicting motherboard drivers that could cause performance issues. If possible connect the HDD and backup/copy any important files (not games, stuff like work files or resume, college work, etc) onto the SSD. Format the HDD afterwards then start fresh to avoid issues later on.

Okay sounds good. All the drivers are already on the standard hard drive so I feel like they shouldn't conflict when it is plugged in but i will swap the files over and then wipe it. Thank you for your help.
