Question NVMe once showed and now it's gone

I just bought this new SSD, the XPG SX8100, and it showed as normal.
I transferred some files, run a couple games that I just installed on it.

The next day the SSD it's not there anymore. It wasn't showing up on the BIOS either.

So I removed and called customer support.
Later that day, I installed it back, just to make sure, and once more the SSD is showing and running buttery smooth.
I was very skeptical that it wouldn't last. And just as I thought, as soon as I restarted the PC, it is gone again.

I've tried tweaking a lot of BIOS settings, but nothing seems to work.
And I'm really unsure if there's a problem with the product, or if it's some sort of configuration/compatibility issue.

The two HDD I have have their SATA Ports installed on position SATA6G_7 and SATA6G_8.
I've swapped a couple times the both SSD I have with no success.

Thank you!

PS.: I have the XPG Gammix S41 for about a year or so, and it works in any of the two slots. It has the OS on it.

This SSD?

Double check that it is indeed properly and fully connected and secure.

If so then look in Reliability History and Event Viewer.

Either one or both may be capturing some error codes, warnings, or informational events that occur just before or when the SSD goes missing.

Being that the SSD randomly appears and disappears is an indication (to me at least) that the SSD may be defective in some manner.

Some component not fully connected and/or secure.

Any way to test the SSD in another known working system?

Determine if the disappearance problem follows the SSD.

Yep, that's exactly this model.

There was no error.

I've tried removing all my storage drives, install only the SX8100 and run Linux on USB. It didn't show at first.

When I installed the other SSD with Windows, both the BIOS and Windows recognized it.

I could recover my data and used it as much as possible, transferring data and playing a game in 4K installed on it just to test and did a surface test using EaseUs Partition Master. But after I've shut down and installed the other drives, it's gone missing again. Then I removed the additional drives I just plugged, but no success.

Seems like whenever I take it away for a while, then reinstall it shows up after a couple restartings.

I have no other system to test.

EDIT ----------

I forgot to mention: It's also overheating when it does not detect. I can barely hold with my fingers. I could say between 60ºC (140F) and 70ºC(158F)
