The system comes with the 512GB NVMe, with OS on it?So I'm getting a PC with a 512gb nvme in it. At the moment I have a 240gb ssd along with a 1tb hdd. Should I install the os on the nvme and use the hdd and leave the ssd on the old one, or use the ssd as main drive and nvme for storage and games?
There's a big difference in games' loading times in comparison to an HDD, right? You aren't likely to notice a performance difference between the 240 and the 512.
I'd base my decision on capacity requirements on the 2 PCs. Windows takes up maybe 30.
I've never had a boot drive larger than 128. You may need 400. I have no idea. You are the only person who would have an idea.
If you use the 240 on the new PC, can you install the 512 NVMe on the old motherboard?? Or would you have to use an adapter?
I'd probably leave the SSD on the old PC to give it to someone, as an HDD would be a nightmare to use as a main driveThe system comes with the 512GB NVMe, with OS on it?
If so, leave it as is.
Add other drives as desired.

If you're going to sell/donate the old system, yes, leave that 250GB SSD in it.I'd probably leave the SSD on the old PC to give it to someone, as an HDD would be a nightmare to use as a main drive
I mean between an SSD and an HDDHDD compared to what?
As I said, I don't think you will notice a difference between and NVMe and a standard SSD.
