NVME ssd not found when trying to install windows or when other sata drives are disconnected, but is found in bios when sata drives are connected and is able to be formatted. when formatted i see angled strips across the drive in disk manager. can install programs onto the drive but cannot run any programs off drive. cannot populate information on the drive in disk properties.
im running this off a X470 ASrock Taichi Ultimate motherboard.

Solution
NVME SSDs do not appear within the BIOS until Windows creates the system partition with the EFI Boot Sector. The M.2 drive is the only drive connected when installing the OS.

A bootable UEFI USB drive with Windows 10 Setup on it is used to install the OS. USB3 is quicker but USB2 works also. A Windows DVD won’t work unless you’ve created your own UEFI Bootable DVD.

If your not booting from it, it seems you forgot to install the NVMe driver.
