Question NVME SSD not booting properly

So i just installed a new nvme ssd and put windows on it and it boots perfectly into windows but as soon as i connect a hard drive to the system it doesn't boot. ive checked the bios and both show up ive tried a seperate hard drive and same thing happens everything else is working perfectly fine when the ssd is by itself but as soon as i connect a hdd it just doesnt boot into windows idk what is wrong.

change boot order, nvme is at end of disk numbering, ie hdd becomes disk0 and nvme goes disk1
see your boot opions for CMS if its both uefi and legacy, switch it to just uefi (as that hdd can be tryin to boot in legacy mode)

tried that now the hdd isnt even showing up in the boot manager and ive tried 3 seperate sata ports and cables
