Question NVME SSD not detected in BIOS boot priority

Hello everyone,
I have this ssd installed for about a year with no issues (ADATA SX8200PNP). But yesterday suddenly my laptop's been having constant freezes, I checked and it was high cpu and hdd usage (my hdd had bad sectors that's why im adding the nvme). It was odd because since I installed the nvme, my hdd is rarely used by the system because I also boot from ssd.

Then I decided to unplug my hdd, and when I turn it on again it says "no bootable device". So I went to BIOS and the nvme isn't on the boot priority. I was confused because the OS I use right now is in the ssd, and accessing files was no problem. It's like my hdd is being a bottleneck with its 100% usage spikes. Is there any fix not involving reformatting the ssd?

Thankyou in advance

I did, but after installation I still can see and set my ssd to 1st priority in the BIOS menu. And if it's as you say, i have to clone the boot partition from the hdd?
You did the OS install on the NVMe just today?

If so, redo it.

Full wipe and reinstall, with ONLY the NVMe drive connected.

No it was last year, and for now I kinda don't want to wipe the ssd yet
