Hi everyone,

I'm looking to do a quick storage upgrade on a new laptop (currently has 64GB eMMC).

I'm considering going with either 128GB or 256GB and was wondering what might be better brands/products to go for?

I've seen brands such as Patriot, Integral, Transcend and Silicon Power, and wondered which you have had the best experiences with and can recommend?

Here's some products I've found:
128GB:
256GB:

Are there any good websites where you can compare components (e.g. NVMe's) easily?

Any advice much appreciated!

I would choose a Crucial product over any of the brands you have mentioned:

Are you sure your machine has at least one M.2 NVME capable slot. Computers using eMC usually have no other expansion options or they would use that instead of soldered eMC.

Your laptop is a very low end unit that is using a eMC drive for the C drive. That is bottom of the barrel so far as ssd performance goes.
(a celeron 4020 is not so strong either)
The specs are showing different configurations and do not necessarily allow for added m.2 devices.
Open up the laptop and verify that there is a available m.2 slot.
If it does, the m.2 brand does not matter much.
Personally, I like Intel 670P:

Hi CountMike

The manufacturer page says:
Expansion slots: 1x M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0x2
(https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-home/all-series/asus-e210/techspec/)
Any specific product/model recommendations for 128GB/256GB NVMe much appreciated!
Don't need any special one, considering it's PCIe 3.0x2 (instead of x4) That means1/2 speed of an x4 but still 2-3 times faster than SATA SSD. There are literary hundreds of models. Sameof better ones are by Samsung; Kingston, Adata and Lexar.
