[SOLVED] NVME2 sockets

Hello.

I got an MPG Z390 motherboard, and I also bought 2 Samsung NVME2 drives. One is 500GB another is 1TB. On the motherboard, there are 2 sockets for these drives. I want 500GB to be my system drive only and another 1TB to be data storage. Which socket should I use to put the system drive of 500GB? The one under Turbo M2 or the second one above?

From the specs, either.

No performance difference.

I know both are the same. Major difference is that the bottom one has integrated heat spreader. That is why I wonder is there a difference at all in performance or in temperature. Any help with this is welcome. Thanks.

I wouldn't expect to see any performance difference.
And you'll be using both of them anyway.
