NVS Quadro 290 GPU Based Streaming?

My friend got a cheap workstation PC and enjoys streaming, but can end up with poor framerates due to things like xSplit using the CPU to stream. He can't use Raptr because only newer AMD GPUs and Intel HD Graphics support it, and his card doesn't support shadow-play. Despite that, I am sure there is some sort of GPU based streaming software out there for this card. Bandicam, a recording software, did GPU based regardless of hardware, so I expect there is something similar on the streaming side. Any ideas on what he can use? Oh yeah, his CPU is a quad core Xeon so it has no onboard graphics.

Obs is what a lot of others used before shadowplay and raptr got more popular.
