Newsgroup, no. You see a little scripting discussion here, but not
much. If you decide to post here about scripting, it'd probably be a
good idea to begin the subject line with '[Scripting]' so those
interested (and those interested in skipping it) will be able to see it
right away.

The Bioware scripting forum is here:
http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewforum.html?forum=47

I've found the web forum to have intermittently sluggish response, and
the search engine leaves a lot to be desired. But it has fairly high
traffic, and many talented scripters hang out there and answer questions
both simple and advanced on a regular basis.

You'll need to register a valid CD key for NWN (or any expansion) to get
an account that can post there.

I'm a decent scripter; if you post here I'll try to answer but sometimes
I go a few days without visiting this group.

Apart from the aforementioned official Bioware forum you should point
your browser to www.nwnlexicon.com where you can download a scripting
encyclopedia in either HTML or CHM format. Quite a valuable resource for
anyone who wants to write his own modules.

I concur with the above 100%...
If you have any programming experience at all especially with C the the
lexicon is all you will really need to get you started in scripting and
making quality and unique modules.
